Nasyam

“Nasa hi shirso dwaram” – this means that the only way to the brain is through the nose. Nasyam is the process of treatment in which the medicine is administered through the nose. All brain-related disorders, such as insomnia, facial palsy, lockjaw, epilepsy, headaches of various origins, migraine, sinusitis, hyper pigmentation in the face, pre-mature greying of hair, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis etc., as well as mental disorders, are treated through nasyam. Other illnesses curable with nasyam are hemiplegia, paraplegia, neuralgia, loss of smell and taste, frozen shoulder, nasal allergies, nasal polyps, neurological dysfunctions, etc.
